On Microsoft Office Word 2003. I need to find a word in a document without skimming through 35 pages for it.

I am making a jeopardy game in PowerPoint. I have set the hyperlinks to "disappear" after they have been clicked by setting them to change to the same color as the background. I can't figure out how to reset them other than closing and re-opening the file.

I have the 2003 version of power point, and I need to play a video during my presentation. I inserted the video into my presentation but it won't play and it says that the program does not recognize the file. The video is from my camera and it can play on quicktime in my computer. But when I insert it into powerpoint, it won't play. I don't know what type of file the video is in because when I right-click on the video icon, it doesn't tell me the type of file. What do I need to do to make it work?

Okay so I have a problem! I am trying to make a movie on Windows Movie Maker and after Ive added all the clips that I want to add, when the movie plays through all the clips, it continues. Is there any way to shorten the length of my movie?

I recently (like 3 days ago) got a new laptop with Windows Vista. It's been just a few days but I'm already sick of it. What should I consider before I give up on it?

The laptop is already giving me problems on startup. AND it's compatibility issues are driving me up the wall. Will this get better or worse with time?

I am trying to set the VB Properties on my workbook to limit the scrolling area and cell selection properties. But when I save the file after choosing my desired settings, and then closing and re-opening the workbook, the settings are changed back to the default. How can I fix this? BTW, this is MS Excel for Mac 2004.

its all grey, its not slow or anything, i waited like 20 minutes at one point and it didn't change. but the "x" wont close it. Ctrl + w won't either. escape wont close it. the mouse has like no power on it. right/ left click wont work on it. what do I do? and also how do i fix it so i can use it again? please and thank you.

When I create a simple black and white jpg file and save it it always opens with "smudges" that get increasingly bad. This is ridiculous. Is there a free program that will not do this, or, can I make paint work right?

How do I do an excel forumala when I have two dates...one is the due date, and the other is the actual submittal date and I have to show how many days it was late based on the due date? Any idea? Is there a formula that will do this or do I have to do it in my head?

After trying Vista and experiencing it's problems I've decided to "downgrade" back to Windows XP which suits me fine. Unfortunately I can't dump Windows entirely as I need to be able to access and login to a Windows Domain and use ActiveSync/Bluetooth PAN.

I want to learn more about Unix and someday soon ditch Windows. Is it possible to boot a flavor of (Fedora, Ubuntu, etc) within Windows XP? I don't want to perform a dual boot as I need to be able to access the Windows Domain at all times. Thanks!

every so often a dialogue box comes up that says that there is some kind of problem with internet explorer... i guess it is crashing?

it offers me two choices:
"send error report" and "don't send"

what does it all mean and what do i do here?

I took some advice on yahoo answers about my computer crashing recently, and I did a system restore and computer repair several times and I everytime I log on to my name it keeps saying something like Im about to be logged in one minute and will automatically restart.Nothing has changed, sometimes I get a blue screen saying "fatal error" and says collecting crash, I dont know. The only thing I download that day was a downloading tool to download youtube,dailymotion and other video sharing sites. That may be the problem, but what I can do to fix this?

I've just downloaded picasa and it is on my desktop. when i click on it, a window comes up. I click on 'run' then 'i agree'. a bar comes up to say itsabout to run then when it is completed it just closes and nothing happens. why?
any info will be a preciated or if there are any other good picture software downloads that might work better. thankyou!

I installed that At&t Norton antivirus the other day and it has messed up my computer ever since. I went to the symantec website and uninstalled it, and in my add/remove programs (hopefully) and my computer is still restarting on its own when I'm right in the middle of something, it just shuts down and restarts. Can anybody help me solve this problem? Thank you!
