MS Excel VB Properties not sticking after I close the file and re-open it...?

Question

I am trying to set the VB Properties on my workbook to limit the scrolling area and cell selection properties. But when I save the file after choosing my desired settings, and then closing and re-opening the workbook, the settings are changed back to the default. How can I fix this? BTW, this is MS Excel for Mac 2004.

I would love to help you, but I have no idea what you mean by "VB" properties.
