Okay so I have a problem! I am trying to make a movie on Windows Movie Maker and after Ive added all the clips that I want to add, when the movie plays through all the clips, it continues. Is there any way to shorten the length of my movie?

Okay so I have made a video. My clips all together equal 1 min and 10 seconds however the movies is 2 mins and 54 seconds long. How do I shorten the length of my movie to match the clips?

Change you view to timeline and edit it from there you can reduce the video clip on how much is played. when you go to the end of the clip a red left and right arrow come's up which lets you trim the clip to the nessacary parts.

ps: click ctrl+s or go view and select storyboard.

Look further down the timeline, you must have left something beyond the end point.

Either that or your audio track goes beyond the end of the video portion. If this is the case, drag the far end to meet the end of the video portion. Don't forget the add a fade at the end.
