Hate to disappoint everyone else, but...

Not answerable with the information available.

You can say which window is SELECTED.

But both can be active if they have active processes running in them. (Like, two command prompts on two different scripts.) It is further complicated by whether the CPU is a uniprocessor or a multi-chip like a Dual Core system. Finally, there is a registry entry that controls whether - and how much - CPU time the non-selected window gets when another window is selected.

So my answer is a resounding ... maybe.

False

The only thing really active is Windows, switching incredibly fast between each of the two windows, giving each an incredibly small atom of activity, then paging it out of memory, and paging the other in, and giving it ITs turn.
