I am making a jeopardy game in PowerPoint. I have set the hyperlinks to "disappear" after they have been clicked by setting them to change to the same color as the background. I can't figure out how to reset them other than closing and re-opening the file.

Obviously I already know how to change the color of the links, or I couldn't have set it up the way I have it in the first place. What I want to know is how to reset the links so that they don't show up as "visited" anymore.

I do not want to remove the link, I want the link to be reset so that it doesn't show up as visited anymore.

To be very clear... say that I have links set up to appear in red when they have not been visited and to appear in green after they have been visited. How do I get it to go back to red without closing and reopening the file.

Hi

Right Click on the link and choose Edit Hyperlink. Click the Remove Link button.

Also, if you don't want to re-invent the wheel, there's a whole bunch of free PowerPoint presentations that steal the Jeopardy game idea that are free for download. Just use a search engine and search on Jeopardy PowerPoint Free

Your Hyperlinks will work only in the Slideshow mode!

Since you have set it to have the same color as the background, on the slide that you have the links...right click on the slide and click on "Slide color scheme"

The default one active on that particular slide will be highlighted. Click on the Custom tab and change colors of the Accent and followed hyperlink!

The solution is based on MS Office 2000 and till 2003 should not be a problem...not sure about 2007 though.

Hope this helps!

Right click on the hyperlink, click edit hyperlink, then press ok. That will reset it so it wont appear as if you've clicked on it, turning it back to white, or whatever color you have it normally set as.
