Though one has to reinstall all programs after reinstalling windows,why do people still insist on installing softwares in a partition that doesn't contain the os??

My computer keeps sayin there is a error with my registy key something like that...and that it need cleaning and sorting out to stop my pc from crashing..

is there anything i can do to stop this error...is there anything on the net thats free to use and safe...

I don know what went wrong... My system was just normal, i was jus surfing through the internet ( disabling the antivirus)... But i had the Firewall turned on... I restarted the computer, and my computer is now hanging at the Windows Logo....I tried with the Safe mode, last known good configuration,,, No go... any idea(other than formatting the C drive?)

I downloaded a RAR file, and it tells me how to get the password, but the stormpay site says that it is not accepting new members. Does anyone know how else to get the password? Thanks in advance.

heres the stop codes iv been getting, 0x0000008e, 0x00000050, 0x000000a, 0x0000008e, 0x000000d1.

the 0x000000d1 was a bit more detailed, it said: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hello all. :)

I haven't used Excel for awhile, but I remember that is possible to simply highlight a column and have a function (in my case, LOG 10) apply itself to the entire area. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do it and I can't find the topic under Excel's help menu.

If anyone could help me out and tell me how to do this I will be very grateful. I have about 180 values to convert and graph and this would be a huge help! Thank you! :)

Hi,

I ma facing a peculiar problem while working in Powerpoint 2000.

I have developed several PPTs in Powerpoint on Windows Platform and have used several charcter map characters in it.

My problem is that when these files are on Mac OS 10.36.9 using PowerPoint X, some of the character map charcters get displayed as "underscores". I have no idea what is going wroing since it is displaying some other similar charcters correctly. Please help me out

I have a list of prices for computer components in an excel spreadsheet, every month i add a new updated price for each component. My frustration is this: i can calculate an Average price for each component easily, by using the average function. However, i want to calculate the average price CHANGE - i.e., the average difference between all the prices. For example

A__B
======
60 65
59 00
58 63
57 61

Column A should give an average difference of 1, whilst column B should give an average difference of 2. Please help!
