i was wondering if anybody out there thought that microsoft first made some viruses so that they could make more money by selling us anti virus software. i realise this is slander but its a question i wanted to know what others thought thanks to all and sorry microsoft!!

Also why are there so few viruses on Macs?

The origin of viruses was ambitious, mischievous computer programmers preying on suckers who didn't know any better. How do you think most theft or vandalism starts? Somebody gets a smart idea on how to take advantage and does it. It's called human nature.
And by the way, even if the rumor was true, Microsoft doesn't make a dime on viruses; if anything it loses money. If anyone was going to produce viruses for their benefit, it'd be the people who sell the antivirus software.

I believe that Microsoft created viruses and ur using that virus. It renamed all the viruses as OS like Macintosh, Windows Office,Direct x and many more. All are bugs and they more than Trojan Horse virus. especially Windows 2000 was the severe one, full of Bugs in it

Actually, it's slander when you make a statement that's false or misleading. What you've just done is libelled yourself by publishing that statement ... assuming there's no truth in your assertion.

just remember people,its all about one thing and one thing only, money,if you get a chance to make more money with no come backs would you do it,ofcourse you would and why,because it in our nature,greed is an awful thing with all the money bill makes he still wants to make more and more what does he do with all this money,he can't take it with him he die's lol
