I copy dat files on vcd on my hard disk. I use some softwares like NeroVision but I loss quality. Why?

Just use the latest version of nero vision they have improved a lot, or just copy the files from vcd and burn them to dvd as it is. It should work fine.

You can not burn as VCD on a DVD the same way as burning on a CDR/W. But you can convert the VCD to a "DVD-VCD" that will work on most DVD Players.. check out this link please..

You WILL lose quality, as you are trying to make 1 pixel into 2, Nero can convert them, but the lost of quality is not due to Nero, purely on what you are trying to do.
