I am getting a laptop but i want to get the best kind but i heard that windows vista is bad. I was thinking about getting the windows vista premiem one, but i want to know what people who had it think about it. Plus can sims 2 be used on a vista?

My mom got Avery business cards. We can't find the template on Microsoft Word. The Avery number is 8871, and we can't find it when I go to Tools, Envelopes and Labels, and Options.


Also, i don't want to sound rude when i say 'computer geeks', i'd take that as a compliment.

My limewire wont pull up,everytime i click it.It wont pop up so if i right click it,and click run as.. then it pops up some aministoer thing and i am the ameneraster!

Ok, so I bought my Acer laptop a while ago and it had XP on it installed. A few months ago I installed Vista. Now I realized my mixer (BCD2000) does not support Vista yet. So I'm trying to install XP (clean) create partition and then install Vista again. There was no Windows XP CD with my laptop but I'm using the disk from my desktop. When I insert the XP CD it loads all the things during installation and then when everything is loaded and its time for the actuall install, the laptop just shuts down. The Acer Alt+F10 recovery does not work, I made a DVD from it too but it doesn't boot up. So someone tell me how to install XP.

At present Im using genuine XP media edition and planning to replace it with Vista Ultimate .

Alot of the time, the computer tells me that superfetch has stopped working. Soon after it tells me that host process has also stopped working.

I have 3gig ram, so I don't think it's to do with memory.

I have a Dell laptop that I got in December. It seems that there is always something happening. I don't have a lot of programs I have added and I have burned all the pics and doc folders I need.
Is there a big difference between using the system restore disc to repair or restore? Has anyone out there done a restore and it fixed internet problems? When I use Mozilla it works fine but int IE. I have to use IE for a college class,no choice but always problems and freezing every time I use it. I have tried removing & reinstalling, many types of spyware/virus/adware programs.. nothing helps. Could there just be a corrupt file? I also can not download/upload anything now. The problem started from beginning which is why I removed IE.

I have one drive in my pc, and its partioned into 2, drive c and drive d. c: contains the XP os on it, i would like to install Win2000 on this drive too. Will it overwrite xp? wil i lose my data on drive d:? or will this simply mean i can choose which OS i want to use when the system starts?
