I had purchased a copy of office 2003 professional edition from overseas and it ended up being a copy of the real deal, but I was provided w/ a product key and the disc has worked on every computer i've tried it on. However, when i tried to install it onto my vista home premium laptop, i selected what i wanted to install from the disc's menu, and i got an error about my needing to be "elevated"? I thought it meant that i needed to be a computer administrator, but i checked and i was, so im not really sure what the problem is. I'm sorry I dont know the exact words of the error message, but any assistance at all would be helpful, because I reaaaaally don't want to have to spend another few hundred bucks on office 2007. Thanks in advance!!!!

does it just copy your files and settings to be transferred to another computer or does it totally erase them from the old computer? also should i use another flash to put my things in safe keeping while I add my other files and settings from my old computer or will it keep it all divided, like my Microsoft Money program which is in both but different accounts? Please explain to me. Thanks in advance.

i installed this crap on my computer. i ended up not using the zwinky. i can't find the file to uninstall in my "add or remove programs". i opted OUT for the gay toolbar. now i have the gay toolbar. how do i get it to uninstall? i don't want any of it.

I am using a mac osx 10.4.9 with photoshop CS2. I need alien skins plugins for the photoshop particularly xenofex and splat! I have no budget to buy these and my back is against the wall. ive got norton installed and ever since i installed it when i start pc up it takes ages before i can go onto internet explorer plus when closing an open window it freezes on me. sometimes i can get it to go down to the tool bar at bottom but if i click on it to bring it back up all i get is wot looks like a frame and nothing in middle all i see is the desktop.im sick of the pc feezing on me also i get microsoft error report too and have to send error report i get this quite often, any body any ideasim not pc literate so havent a clue.

Ok I'm using Sony Acid Music Studio 6.0.
I also have Magicsofts Sound Recorder (for when I record stuff off internet radios and such)
Now the Magicsofts thing has 4 options to record from:
-Line In
-Microphone
-CD Audio
-Wav Out Mix
by picking one of these in this program, it switches the recording device for the whole computer.
Now here are my 2 situations:

1.) I pick "Microphone" mode in this magicsofts program.
I now go into Sony Acid Music Studio.
I can record everything, and I can record multiple tracks at once, like record a new track, when playing the others in the background. The quality is average.

2.)I pick "Wav Out Mix" mode in the magicsofts program.
I now go into Sony Acid Music Studio.
I can record one track, and when I record another, since i'm in wav out mode, it will play this track on the sound card when im recording the new one, so the levels are all doubled and it sounds terrible. However, the one track that I did record is almost studio quality.

What should I do

I was editing my word document so I could send it to my professor. When I tried to save it it said I was in "lock edit".
I have no idea how that happened. Then when I tried to save the document before sending it to the prof it said it was read only.

everytime I try to copy a file on desk top or other to a cdrw it comes up as read only...im trying to review work from another worker and cannont make any changes...i cant seem to get to the attributes for read-only...they are not even highlighted to make a change...could this be a security thing blocking me...thanks

I scanned in a bumper sticker and the only program I have to edit it in is Adobe Illustrator. I just want to crop out the bumper sticker so that I can work with it in Corel Draw.
I know how to crop in Photoshop but, that's not an option. Please help because I need to get this done ASAP!!!

I am trying to burn copies of my DVDs. Does anybody know a good FREE program to download to do so?
Also, I need a program to get around those pesky copyright locks on the DVDs
And a program which compacts the DVD so that it fits on a burnable DVD

Lots of questions lol Any help would be appreciated!!
