problems how do you no what is good as i guess there must be some kind of things they pick up that are not there after all i no id probably by 1 that says it has 20 probes to 1 that says 1 prob

I tested reg cure and would not trust the software.

Here are two excellent free registry cleaners that I use and trust. You will get all new versions for free plus the software backs up your registry and you can restore. (Years, I have never had to use the restore as they never made one mistake).

http://www.ccleaner.com This program will clean your HDD, and clean registry issues. Will saved cleaned registry keys to your documents incase you want to restore them.

This company is out of Beijing, China and if you look down about five software program you will see their free registry cleaner. http://www.eusing.com Also as a restore that I never had to use.

I have test a few different kinds. I would say that Registry Mechanic is the most effective. Plus it is very intuitive and easy to move about.

I've used CCleaner and that's a good one.

i hav ebeen using CCleaner for several years and that seems to work great, it is mainly for all your temp files but if you click on issues and scan it will tell you registry issues, many times it has fixed something that was acting up on my comp
