ive had to install windows on my computer 3 times and every time i get an undate sp2 from windows it makes my monitor lose all color and the screen goes black and i have to rewrite windows

Sounds like an issue with the video driver. It is probably to old to work with SP2. Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer (or video card if you install it yourself) and get the lastest drivers for the card. They should be free.
Once you have updated the driver, you should be able to do the sp2 update.

maybe without u knowing there's a virus and you should inmidiatly install a anti-virus , i recomend spyware docter or norten anti-virus cause i have it on my computer and my computer is still safe !!
