heres the stop codes iv been getting, 0x0000008e, 0x00000050, 0x000000a, 0x0000008e, 0x000000d1.

the 0x000000d1 was a bit more detailed, it said: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

protcls.sys address- f7a48295, base at f7a46000, date stamp 3d6de2ca.

any help will b greatly appreciated, i have my exams on monday, as this is really holding me back =( ty

Try starting your computer in Safe Mode reboot press F8 and then select Safe Mode off the menu. If you find the computer boots fine then your problem is a device driver if you get the same problem in Safe Mode its hardware related. If its driver related hop on the Internet and install the latest drivers for your Video Card, Sound Card, Printer and etc. If its a hardware problem you will need turn off your computer and unplug it then disconnect the various hardware devices in your computer one by one until you find the culprit.
