i got a modem to hook up but i don't got the software?

The whole bottom is missing...the start button, the clock, volume, the place where the stuff goes when you minimize screens....it is all just blank down there now. Also, it is not moved to the top or side of the screen like I know you can sometimes do...It is totally disappeared!!!! I accidently hit something and made it go away, but I don't know what...please help me get it back! This is really annoying! Thanks!

Alright i need help, for my game Lineage 2 it says my gameguard error that cancels GG for updating, i tried everything, downloaded friends system folders and game guards folders and closed Firewall, changed to direct/router and added exceptions.

But one of my friends suggested looking through my task manager, Procces tab, but when i open up task manager there is no tabs above, just lists of running things....

I am running on windows XP

I'm thinking of something along the lines of Apples Garage Band. No more than $400. I want to be able to record in live settings (not just one instrument at a time). I play jazz, fusion, rock, etc (not that that matters, but I'm just saying there's usually 3-6 instruments when I play).

I recently formated my computer, and just got done installing a fresh version of XP. My internet seems to be "lagging", the page has trouble keeping up with my movement. I think I need to download the most recent driver version. Do you all know what I sould do?

I heard that someone can put like 100 or 50 songs on a regular CD-Rom disk. I have Roxio Digital Media Software, but i'm not sure how to do that. Can someone please tell me how u use it to put that many songs on a CD.

I need to do this for a project and only have a few days. I don't have an mp3 player. I recorded a song on my computer and saved it as a WAV file---I really need to convert it to an MP3 file. I searched online and downloaded Musicmatch Jukebox and tried to convert it through that program--but all it told me was 'audio data format incompatible'. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions as I don't know much about computers. I don't have a separate MP3 encoder but it was supposed to encode through the Musicmatch program. I do have Windows Media Player 10 but that doesn't seem to work either. I'd be grateful for any help. Basically I just have a WAV file saved on my computer and need it to convert to MP3. Or I may be able to get my recording on a CD---how then would I take the CD, rip it to my computer and convert it to MP3?

Hiya, i'm trying to either A. lower the quality of my vob files so they will fit within my 4 gig capacity or b. (preffered) convert them to a avi or mpg format that will fit on a 4 gig dvd-r. I have 6 vob files total so joining them would be the plus there. ANy help on a freeware program or is it just something that easy and im clueless? lol. I am using nero for my burning. Thanks in advance

What does it actually do? I had it and deleted it, thinking it was what was causing the yellow line to come up saying,This could be harmful if you open this website click on Active X Control to see it. (not sure if I said it right word for word).. I just know I got sick of it..

Ok, my computer was doing FINE until i downloaded this dumb thing, and i felt that the computers was slow so i COMPLETELY erased it i think but my computer is really slow. my computer is windows xp and i had it for about a year and 4months. i have deleted all the uneccesarry files but i do have a big file for a long time which is 1,200MB. Why is my computer going really slow all of a sudden? i checked for malware(malicious ware) and i got rid of that and my AVG virus scan took more than 7hr so i havent checked for viruses yet.(if AVG sucks can u give me a free nice anti virus program?) and i did spybot search&destory and i had no threats. im dumb with computers so please help me :)
