I'm not sure about traditional phone lines (POTS). But most VoIP systems, like ATT Callvantage and Verizon Voicewing offer reporting and call logging. I would recommend looking into them if you have a broadband connection to the Internet.

Ask your phone company to supply you with a detailed invoice each month.

I don't know if this is the way to go about it.

How about setting up a schedule, assigning each teen a specific hour for on and off, sign-up sheet, set an alarm clock, or, get them all together at the table and discuss (discuss, not let them dictate) what they think might be fair.

Cheer up. Know that at some point in the future they will have their own kids then you can kick back and smile.
