I've been running Linux for 10+ years, but am planning on getting my first Mac later this year. It's unrelated to Vista though, I'm motivated by Boot Camp. I'll finally be able to run Windows, Mac OS and Linux on the same machine, which will be nice.

If you can't use Vista, you CANNOT use Linux, takes far more computer knowledge to use it than Vista. As for Mac, no would not consider that since I enjoy actually being able to purchase games for my computer. Any particular problems you are having with Vista, email me and perhaps I can help you out.
