The whole bottom is missing...the start button, the clock, volume, the place where the stuff goes when you minimize screens....it is all just blank down there now. Also, it is not moved to the top or side of the screen like I know you can sometimes do...It is totally disappeared!!!! I accidently hit something and made it go away, but I don't know what...please help me get it back! This is really annoying! Thanks!

You have it unlock and for some reason you push it down, put your cursor at the buttom of the screen it should show arrow , now hold the arrow with your left click button and pull it up. It should show it up now. You have to lock it now to prevent it from happening again. Right click the taskbar and click the selection lock the taskbar.

It's not gone, it's just collapsed. Move the cursor to the bottom of the screen (there should be a thin blue line there). When the cursor changes to the up-down arrows, left-click and hold and drag the taskbar back up. (If there isn't a blue line there, check the three other edges of the screen. The Taskbar could be on any of them.)

If the Taskbar pops up when you touch it, it's in Auto Hide mode instead. Right-click on an empty space on it and select Properties from the popup menu. Deselect Auto Hide.

To keep this from happening again, right-click on an empty space on the taskbar and select the Lock Taskbar item from the pop-up menu.

First thing to try is to hit the Start button on your keyboard between Ctrl and Alt. That should bring up the start menu. Ive never heard of anyone getting rid of the start menu toolbar all together. You may have accidently minimized that toolbar all the way down to where it is just a tiny line. You need to go over the line and when the crosshair turns into a double directional arrow, drag it up. Hope this helps

Does it reappear when you slide your cursor to the bottom of the window? You can set your options to do this, or not.

To have the Taskbar display on top of all other windows,
click Start
Settings
Control Panel
double-click the Taskbar/Start Menu icon to open
put a checkmark in the box or circle to “always keep on top”

ok, thankfully it is a reasonably straight forward concern with a very ordinary restoration. All you are able to desire to do is start up activity supervisor and decrease than record click start up new software, then style in "explorer" with out the ". provide it a minute and the activity bar and start up could come again.
