We creates Sub Directories under My Document that carries multi-types of files. usually on files like wordfile, excelfile etc we can place password to open. So likewise, is there a software or way to provide security to a sub-Directory?

When i try to delete the file MyDog.rar or jar? it shows this error: "cannot delete my dog: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect." HOW WOULD I BE ABLE TO DELETE THAT FILE? PLEASE HELP ME! Its a mobile game file and it is stored at my MMC (MULTI MEDIA CARD), Now i can't open my phone with the stupid mmc!

I just installed ubuntu of the cd they sent me in the post and i get this error after the install...

I installed it as the primary operating system as i formated the whole hdd before installing and grub was installed to hd0

I tried Super grub Disk but couldn't figure it out kept getting errors not succeeded

If anyone can help me write ur answer if u need more info ill try to add the details immediatly so post bk

I just want my o/s to boot normally i had to boot into ubuntu today using an opensuse internet install cd which offers a ''boot installed system'' so i booted hd1: ext3 and ubuntu loaded..

i have also read it could be a filesystem problem but i think it could be that my computer cant find it == but if it says ''GRUB LOADING ERROR'' then has it already been found??? and there is a problem in the system?? please help any details would be much appreciated.. thanks

My school computer system is pretty rubbish, if you want to do any work you have to find a portable vertion of your software and run it off a USB drive, except the system occationally deletes them (allong with any schoolwork). are they allowed to do this without asking my permission?

I have a video that I want to upload to MySpace or YouTube, both have a max upload of 100MB, fair enough, but my video is about 210MB, I figure the screen size is too large so I need to resize it as it's only about 3 minutes in length.
How do I resize the image, I can't seem to find a way of doing it with the programs I have on XP.....

i nave accedentaly erased my audio driver from my comp.i have no cd,and in my control panel it says that no Multimedia Audio Controller
