Software - March 2007

I like to fall asleep to music and since I have all my songs on my computer it would be great for me to be able to use my Windows Media Player for this. However, I don't want it to keep playing till I wake up, which with the number of songs I have is very possible. Is there any way to put it on sleep, like a tv so I can set it to turn off after a certain amount of time?

I need to update my graphic driver for latest version....(because of that freaking ialmrnts error)...... so I went to intel hompage and downloaded drivers,, But none,,, fit to my graphic card.....It seems fit to me but when I try to install it, it says it is not,,,,,so I can't install it.

Do you know what graphic driver I should download?? for this graphic card?

My graphic divice is
Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset

please help me ...


I tried this one but it doesn't say it is right one and doesn't let me install it.

they had a free trial version up there. I was using it, and getting the feel of it, and then i upgraded my pc with XP home edition. Well, it reset everything, and deleted the copy i had installed. Now i can't find the install file i had saved on disk.

Does anyone know of any other websites that have it for download, or was Ulead the only website? It seems like it was the only DVD authoring software that allowed the importing of DVD's that were encoded with AC3 audio. My set-top DVD recorder records them with AC3. I wish there was an option to change it. The other versions of DMF did not allow AC3.

anyone know of any other software that allows AC3 importing?

I have just bought a new laptop with Window Vista operating system. Due to some reason, I have to reinstall my windows Vista. But I wonder if the reinstallation would change or delete some of the original data, settings, or original drivers which came with my new laptop (like sound card, vedio card). I have no any other driver CDs except the Windows Vista CD.

Like my parents added SeekMo and then all of the spy dawn stuff started poping up and now my whole computer is infected with something that I don't want my computer to have. I keep having popups that says that my computer is at risk of hackers and stuff and I just wanted to know what is the best thing that i can use to make it all go away.

I recently switched back from Firefox 2 to IE 7 for my browser. I changed the open filetypes to IE for htm and html. However if I hit a URL in outlook it still opens up Firefox. How can I change this behavior so that URLs embedded in a message open with IE? Thanks.

i get that message when i try to open my usb drive, my only option is to right click on the drive and choose "explore". i have xp home.

I purchased an album of songs off of Walmart music, and downloaded them to my "My Music" folder (as suggested by W-mart.com) but when I try to burn the file to CD I get the message: "The file (what ever song) has exta information attached to it that might be lost if you continue copying. The contents of the file will not be effected. Do you want to copy the file anyway? ... Well, when I try to copy (burn) the file "anyway" It sends up error messages, and won't do it. Any suggestions?

I just bought a vista upgrade about 2 weeks ago, and now i'm selling my computer so i'll be getting rid of vista too. (i'd like to take the memory i added to my computer out though so vista wont run on it after i remove the extra RAM) anyway, i just want to know if i can sell vista separately , or wont it activate on a different computer?

Just got a new laptop with Vista installed and am trying to install Firefox. I get about 1/3 of the way and get an error that says: Error Opening file for writing:\r\n\r\nxpicleanup.exe\r\n\r\nClick Retry to tryagain, or\r\n cancel to stop the installation. The installation bombs at that point. Any help would be appreciated.
