If you have windows xp it should redetect it and choose the driver. otherwise you will have to open your case look at the sound card inside and read all numbers. For example find ESS 1356X. If its not a pci one and its a motherboard one you will have to find the name of the card at your motherboards website or just type the model of it in google. If its a dell or compaq etc you can find out the techspecs on google or the support website. Just type in compaq presario 4504 sound card etc.

if your computer has built-in soundcard, then you can go to http://asus.com and download the driver down, if it's a separate card, then you can go to Device Manager, right click on that sound drive, select uninstall, if it asked to restart your computer, then do so, then it will resintall the driver back to you, if it doens't ask you, right click anywhere on any line, select Update hardware, then your computer will scan and seach for installed hardware and install the appropriate driver for it.
