Can I instal staroffice as we instal other softwares and in addition to MSOffice?

StarOffice is now OpenOffice i think.

Absolutely, just make sure you don't give more than 1 program the same file association.

Sure.But staroffice is really meant for LINUX.You have much more functionality in MS Office than staroffice if you are using Windows.
