Im using Azureus as my bittorrent client, and its going painfully slow. Every movie file i download is going so slow i swear a snail can reach africa by the time its done! My download speed is hardly even reaching 5 kb/s. Its usually around 3 kb/s, no wait... Its usually AROUND 500 B/S!!! It wont even reach a kb! I have direct connection thingy to my router and i have the best settings possible. I have a great internet connection. My uncle and dad's computers have download speeds averaging 30-50 kb/s, but sometimes sky rockets to 80-100 for a minute or two. My computers on the floor in my house, my dads is in the basement, HOW can i get my azureus download speed to go faster? And its NOT the files either because i've tested with ALOT of movies and shows and none of it is better than the other. Though songs can easily reach 10 kb/s, i have limewire for that.

Right now, the speed is around... 5 b/s... Ok, now 300 b/s... Now 44 b/s... Not even reaching a kb!

I've got a really important video that I need to put on DVD. It's a quicktime file and no program I have supports the file. Is there any way I can convert it to a avi file or some other readable video file? Thanks.

A couple of days ago when I turned on my computer it only started in safe mode. I was finally able ot get it out of safe mode. However now I can not change the color setting or screen size. I have tried everything reccomended in the Help section and nothing changes. And to make matters worse, now when I go to the Control Panel and click on Display to change the settings I get prompt asking which program I want to use to open it, and that has never happened before. The only thing I am able to open is internet explorer, and even then it is not opening to my default browser. If anyone at all has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.

I selected page setup to change the size and the margins, but the text does not print or show on the screen. Word prompt me to fix the margins, if I do, then the text moves to the right side of the document, like if the document was a letter size, if I do not fix the margins, then the text does not print or show in the preview. HELP!

I installed both Outlooks (2003 & 2007) on a desktop and on a nearby laptop. Each time I launch any of both on any of these PCs, both fail to launch (during the "Migration Account Settings", "Migrating Preferences" and "Importing User Data") and end up displaying:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst is not valid

I've tried installing from the default Administrator (Primary Admin) user account and from the created Administrator (Secondary Admin) account, from both I keep getting the message above. What's a ".pst" anyway?

I'm looking for a music mixing program that I can make a mixed dance cd with. I use to use Mix Miester, and I now use Sony Acid for song mixing.
The only problem is I'm not able to cut the songs in a mix into different tracks. It makes it a continues track. It also makes the whole cd the sames tempo, unless I change it. But anyone that knows djing, switching the tempo even slightly can really mess up a cd. Mix Miester automatically blends the tempo together in a phrase. So I need a program that will do all this, and made asseable for either download or purchase for a reasonable price.

Should Outlook Express not have a contact database like the other email clients do?

I was sure it does, but on my work computer there is not one there, it just does not exist on it.

Does anyone know why or how to fix this, as it would make my life so much easier if i could use this for contacts

I have timesheets for everyone at work saved in separate files. Each datasheet has a column for overtime worked. In the next week's datasheet a column will include this figure as time in lieu.

At the moment, I have to manually insert the previous datasheet and column into the formula to carry over this figure.

Does anyone know how to automatically do this, so that I don't have to keep reinserting the previous datasheet address into the formula.
