For installing Office or Corel, normally you just turn on the machine, press the button on the CD/DVD drive to open the platter, put the CD in face up, and press the button again to close the drive. It should start loading in about 15 seconds, and you will get selections for preferences.
Then look for a new icon on the desktop for that program. Double-click on it to start using the program. If no icon shows, click Start > All Programs and look at the list.
Actually, there is a lot to learn to use a computer effectively. Mostly, you will teach yourself by using it. Classes are also available at communty colleges and centers and major computer stores. There are computer clubs and of course the Internet has thousands of tutorials.
Be sure you have system backup CD's in case you have to reload the system due to a bad mistake. But experiment a little - its the best way to learn things.

1) Switch on, allow it to run up fully
2) Press wee button on CD Drive to open it, tray will slide out.
3) Insert the first disc of "Office"
4)The disc will Auto-Run, follow the prompts
5) Repeat 3 & 4 for second and subsequent discs
6)Install Corel in the same way.
7) Have a cup of coffee....enjoy.
