I have been trying to sign into msn and i keep gettin an error message saying that the service is temporarily unavailible. i have tried restarting etc. any ideas?

Im trying to shade every other row to make it easier to read and Im sure theres another way than shading each row individually. What a pain.

I've just upgraded to version 8.1 - and once again (this happens quite frequently even with the older version of msn) i am encountering problems with signing into msn. It takes far too long to sign in - and in that time comes up a message that states that msn is having difficulties signing in and error code 81000314 appears. I can't understand what the problem is i've entered my username and password correctly and I've sought help already from other msn users on the error forum thing. Also I cannot sign on to windows messenger either - does this help?

I got my Vista upgrade dvd in the mail last week. Now here's the scenario - My WinXP works good so far *knockwood" - and i've got a single partition on the computer and loads of my work saved there... I've been wanting to try out vista for a long time and i thnk my hardware will be ok with it (Core 2 Duo 1.83, 2GB RAM, 120 GB HDD) - but my qn is, will it overwrite all the data? Cos i remember when xp is installed onto C:\, it formats the drive completely - does it apply here too?

I have conditional formating that changes a cells colour when a type in a number between 1, 2 and 3. This applies to a range of cells inside a box. What formula could i use to find the maximum number of consecutive blank cells in this box that go along the rows. What I'm trying to do is find the total consecutive empty seats going along each row. 1, 2 and 3 obviously mean the seat isn't empty.

I currently have roadrunner and am using MS Outlook for e-mail on my main PC, however I was recently confined to bed and was wondering if there was anyway I could set up the MS Outlook on my notebook without recreating all the folders and rules. Thanks for your help.

I am really, really getting sick of having to go into my task manager and manually end all the different processes everytime I view a pdf file!

And yes I have reinstalled adobe, I have reinstalled windows. I even OWN the full adobe suite as my husband uses it for work. I am really just sick of Adobe.

Very often make an on line enquiry about something - or click on a link and get an Outlook Express page to send mail - but there is never any option to send on the page or by going through file. I've been told that you have to set something up in order to do this. All my mail normally comes through Yahoo.
Suggestions please.

I've been copying pictures from google images into MS word documents and every time I try to re-open them after a save the pictures are gone leaving just the outlines with blank space in them. I keep getting an error message that says there is not enough memory to show the pictures. I've tried printing them anyway, but, still have the same problem with disappearing pictures. I'm saving them to a jump drive if that is helpful info. Please if you have any suggestions or tips I would be very appreciative. I need to make around a hundred documents this way and need to be able to open and edit them when need be.

hi i downloaded some vids off you tube by goin to www.vixy.net but wen i download them they are avi files. wen i try to play them on windows media player 11 it won't let me. is there anyway i can convert them to mpg videos for free. I v tried downloading different converter's but all the ones ive tried you have to register if you want to convert the whole video. And it will only do the first 60 seconds. Does registering mean you have to pay please help!

I have zero knowledge about making videos. That being said, my interest is to make some videos about Animal cruelty with video clips, NOT STILLS and background music. Very simple stuff. I have tried opening the sims 2 files that have already been downloaded simply by right clicking on the file, and choosing open file. But when I try to install them, I get a message that says "Windows cannot open this file." If you the answer please let me know.
