When you use the uninstall feature or uninstall the app through add/remove programs (in the Control Panel) it will take care of most everything. If you want to get rid of the rest usually you'll want a registry booster program but they typically cost money.

As stated above, through normal windows add/remove/uninstall you don't fully remove everything. Usually this is ok but some programs might cause problems, like norton if you don't completely remove it, or Lexmark software. I've had to do a search on the net for complete removal of these 2 programs, simply uninstalling didn't do the job.

If you know your program is giving you a problem, do a search for a complete removal your software(name), or post here and someone will help you find a solution to completely remove or make it less troublesome.

You never get rid of everything, each time you install the registry is changed. This is why you should have/run a clean up program that fixes these things. It is a problem with windows!

I suggest you try the following programs which help keep your programs cleaner!

I have linked you to the comparison page for several programs you should choose the one that is right for you! The second link is a free scan to see if you have any problems.

Hope this helps... ;)
