This problem just occured suddenly. I used to play those type of files. I don't know what happened. Any help?

you can download divx player which plays all avi files and it will support your windows media player so your windows media player can play the same files here is the link and its free

try downloading windows media player 10 don't get 11 cause it will only let you play and burn certain songs on 11 so just go to www.WindowsMediaPlayer.com and download version 10

vlc media player is very good. it palys all types of files. Download that.
