how can one use tally 4.5 in window xp?

My friend, my father is a CA. He faced the same problem.Please follow these steps-
1.right click tally(not the shortcut,but the original functional place).
2.a properties window comes
3.select the tag 'compatibility'
4.Click run this....
5.select any earlier window on which tally worked properly.
6.rank my anwer as best.

without applying service pack 2 you can use tally 4.5 in windows xp
