We would like to change the front of our house by creating a more substantial entry. I'm wondering if there is some easy software that I could use to take a picture of my house and do some changes to get ideas.

Uhh, you can use a CAMERA? Those usualy work great for taking pictures, and if it's digital you can upload it to your PC and stare at your house all day! What an exellent question! No, I was joking.

sketchup on google is good. but in a mac store (go macs) i have seen on the software shelf a software for virtual home software. there is some for inside and front. also for floor plans use: turbo cad also good for front of house. you take picture upload and wala design away. i have software for mac for turbocad so not sure if aviable for pcs. i doubt it will not be avbile though.
