I have just inserted a text box into word doc, but want to enter text vertically, so that the writting goes from the bottom up as the text box is tall and thin! how do i do this?

was given the command to proceed with format. I entered Y and an error states "Format cannot run because the volume is in use by another process.Format may run if this volume is dismounted first. ALL OPEN HANDLES TO THIS VOLUME WOULD BE INVALID. Would you like to force a dismount on the volume?" Nothing is running on my computer. I enter Y for yes and the command prompt closes and nothing happens.. What should I do??

First off, is it Legal to burn a copy for personal use as a back up or whatever? Cause some of my dvds are getting bad, mostly cause I let people borrow them, a couple cause of me.

So heres what I wanted to do. I want to make a copy, as in, all the menus and everything. I don't want an AVI file that I watch on my computer, for this part. I want the exact files from the DVD on another so i can watch it in dvd players.

I already have DVD decrypter. I have already taken the files off the DVD, so how do i put them on a blank one?

Also, I would like a copy for my computer thats smaller, like 700mb or whatever. I cant remember, is it DVD Shrink that I want? Or is there a different one thats free, or is Shrink free?

On my computer, I have the new windows live messenger (msn), but when I turn on my computer it automatically logs me onto the old windows messenger (the really old one). I thought I deleted windows messenger a long time ago, and I can't find it listed in the programs list. There is also no desktop icon for it, folders, or logo in the right corner by the time. It really annoys me because it automatically signs me in, and people can send me messages and I can't even view the actual messenger list. When I sign into the newer msn, it logs off the old one and says I have signed in on a different computer. Can't find the program anywere, so how do I get rid of it?

I know how to clip it out persay and delete the bakground but when I open the clipped image in a another program (Illustrator or InDesign) a white background shows up behind the clipped image. I am so frustrated because I see other people doing it so easy. I used to create a clipping path and open them in Quark without any background at all but now since the programs have all updated (I have CS for all of them) (I dont use Quark anymore BTW) I am lost as what to do...please help me!

I use Sonic record now because it doesnt save the files to my computer like windows media does. The problem is is that it either wont burn a disc, or it takes like 5 times to burn it. Can anyone help me? It never burns the first time. It writes a disc, then i put in a blank one, and it says that there was an error and retry. I usually have to try it 3-5 times. Any suggestions?

Okay....I downloaded ultimate Boot CD. I wanted to run se diagnostics. So I wanted to burn an ISO to the cd and run. Well, when I download the image it doe not says iso. And I cannot use it.....nor does it burn to Nero. Nero doesn't even recognize the file. Could some please tell me how to download iso of ultimate boot cd....or tell me wha tI am doing wrong? I am a bit frustrated. I have tried to do the tutorials ver and over...but they do not help. Why doesn't any of the files say iso? Totally confused. Thanks for the help.

Does anyone know of such a program?

I mean any change at all. Perhaps the program monitors the sourcecode maybe every 6 hours or so and reports back to me with any changes.
