After i used it it wont let me open anything.

Anytime i try to open a program it says

Windows cannot open File/path. You may not have permission to open this

I have the trial version of Pinnacle 10 on; it has expired; I'm not going to buy it, but it does not show up in the Remove Programs Control Panel area, nor do I see an uninstall process for this program. Help!

i want to get movies from dvds on my comp. i my computer came with a program called nero and it can burn dvds but i need a way to break through the code or bypass it or somthing. is there another way to get movies such as dowloading fomr youtube or limewire? and are these methods safe if they work?

I dont know how to activate my soundcard, can anyone tell me how in the world you activate it? I would also like to know which programs I need so i can play songs on my radio station. I have a internal sound card in my system but I do not know how to activate it. PLEASE!! Tell me which programs i need!!!!

I heard rumours that Vista PC´s can be booted up much faster, almost like switching on a TV. Probably that´s an exaggeration, but is it faster, and do programs run faster.
PS. I have got a very good PC, a very good intel duo core processor and upgrading is technically no problem.

I was deleting some old programs i did not need in Add/Remove and when I was done i found that none of the icons on my desktop could move. If i clicked an icon so it was highlighted then tried to click and drag it it would not work. None of my icons will move at all. I do not have auto arrange on so i do not know what the problem is. I also can not drag programs from the "all programs" list onto my desktop. I have windows xp family and the other users on my computer were able to move the icons on their desktops. I tried deleting my account and starting a new one but nothing worked.

I am trying to install adobe/macromedia shockwave and flash player. I use xp home. They appear to download and install and a message shows saying they have been installed but they are no where to be found in my system. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

I've tried uninstalling and deleting left over install files, nothing changes, if i reinstall it still wont let me save pictures? Whats going on?

Also other video files, but mostly AVI, thats the one I have most of. I want to be able to make menus, preferably anything I want like backgrounds and stuff, have sub menus, and be able to place the video files in them, then be able to play them on DVD players like real DVDs...I don't want data dvds, I want actual DVDs. I can't use Nero either. It messes my computer up, im one of the few that has this problem.

I have a couple of .rm files that I want to play on Windows Media Player instead of RealPlayer. I also would like to put these files onto a DVD so I can watch it on my DVD player. I have a DVD burner so there is no problems there, I just need help converting (maybe as well as a program to burn the stuff on the DVD because I lost the software for my burner)

I have a Kodak Easy share that I purchased about 3 months ago... And it came with a program to save pictures on to my computer.. I am sure most of you now this... But can anyone tell me if I am able to get these pics saved on to a data disk somehow so that I can still have them, but I want to clean up my software... I have over 1000 pics stored all of which I want to keep of course, but because tehre are so many my computer is running a lot slower than it should... (I know that my computer is fine.. we only purchased it about 3 months ago too.) Needless to say some of these pics need to be taken off without getting rid of them completely.. Can anyone tell me how I can do this.... what do I use (name type.. etc..), and how do I use it???

The other songs are all "Waiting on Busy Host". Is this cos they are all being downloaded from the same host? How can I make it download more from this host simultaneously? I already changed the simultaneous download setting in Options, but that didn't change it.

I have a friend that has a new laptop that just crashed due to a virus? or maybe his own meddling where he shouldn't have. Basically it's now missing files (primarily the ntldr file) and needs to have windows reloaded. I only have a copy of xp home edition...but the laptop came with media edition. Can that at least get me to the repair windows utility if not an install?

I have a video from my cellphone and i uploaded it on my comp, the vid keeps playin on quicktime and it wont load on windows movie maker, i tried to change the vid to windows media playa. the vid wouldnt play on windows media player. is there any way i can load my video onto windows moive maker or windows media player?

Can I use my friends xp CD and my activation code?
I have a toshiba laptop came preinstalled. no basic xp cd.
only a recovery disk that reinstalls the entire harddrive wiping
it i believe. so I was doin a repair with his CD but his activation code is used up.. can I use a different code. Like mine if i can get it. or someone elses? or what.. thanks.. or is it specific to that installation cd.

Hello, I am trying to create a production calendar. I want one sheet of the work book to have the following columns: Customer, PO #, Model #, and Ship Date. This way, I can sort by any of these fields. The next sheets should be calendars, by month, for the rest of the year. I would like to set it up so that the ship date from the first sheet will pull all of the pertinent information for that transaction(Customer , PO #, Model #, and Ship Date) to the appropriate date on one of the calendars.

So, if I entered
Customer: PO# Model # Ship Date
Abc company 123 B 3/7/2007

Then on the calendar, on March 7th, the above line of information would appear on that date.
