Quicktime and Windows Media Player...?

I have a video from my cellphone and i uploaded it on my comp, the vid keeps playin on quicktime and it wont load on windows movie maker, i tried to change the vid to windows media playa. the vid wouldnt play on windows media player. is there any way i can load my video onto windows moive maker or windows media player?

Whats the file extension? Is it .mov ? That is a quicktime movie file for sure. You might be able to download a proper codec so Windows Media Player will recognize the file. Or maybe even easier depending on what kind of software you have or can find, you convert the file to a mpeg ,wmv or avi format. Hope that helps.
