if you are using a dial up modem it will be very slow

Waiting on Busy Host is just Limewire's other term for "wait let me check if you can download this song" if it takes too long, cancel the download and forget about it. and you can download more than 3 songs simultaneously...it just happen that in your case the other songs says that waiting on busy busy host...

Everybody's doing it and I don't know anybody who has ever gotten in trouble. If it was really illegal then it would be shutdown. They found a loophole somewhere. If you really feel guilty, just pay the 19 bucks for the Pro version. And as far as getting carried away who cares how many songs? I have downloaded 500 in a day. And a tip if you don't leave them in a share folder people will not let you download from them. If you don't share it's not fair. If everybody hid their files there wouldn't be anything to download.

In LimeWire, go to Tools on the menu bar, click Options, and then click on Downloads on the left side. On the right side you will see "Maximum Downloads". The default is 3. The more you are downloading at one time the slower each one will download.

If the message is "Waiting on Busy Host" then there's really nothing you can do, short of tracking down the host(s) and forcing them to turn on their computers, which is not really a viable (or logical) course of action.

If you are downloading from one individual, he may have a limit of three uploads at a time and that would limit you
