I dont know how to activate my soundcard, can anyone tell me how in the world you activate it? I would also like to know which programs I need so i can play songs on my radio station. I have a internal sound card in my system but I do not know how to activate it. PLEASE!! Tell me which programs i need!!!!

Your sound probably needs to be turned on in your BIOS.

There is no activation for a piece of hardware. What you have to do, maybe, is to enable it. Go to control Panel> Sound and Audio Devices> Audio Tab. Under the first drop down menu under Audio, choose your sound card and click OK. This should fix it.

you may need to install (or download) the appropriate driver. Although if you purchased this new, you should have the driver on the Data CD it came with. Otherwise you may need to activate the card as the dude above explained.

To activate it you need to go to its manufacturer's site and download the driver. As far as radio software you can listen to XM radio on music.yahoo.com
