burning cds with Sonic record now ..help?

I use Sonic record now because it doesnt save the files to my computer like windows media does. The problem is is that it either wont burn a disc, or it takes like 5 times to burn it. Can anyone help me? It never burns the first time. It writes a disc, then i put in a blank one, and it says that there was an error and retry. I usually have to try it 3-5 times. Any suggestions?

I've had similar problems and found that who I bought the CD's from played a part, as did my recording speed. When I slowed down the recording speed it stopped wasting Cd's.
