hey listen u can open .rar files on some condition 1.u should have a appropriate software(winrar) 2.u need to download all parts of the file.. if u dont download a single part u will not able to open that file. 3. u need the password to open it(tht should be provided by the creater) and if u dont have password u might not able to open that file.. this type of files do leak ur ip address while downloading in some cases..

U have to download a program called WINRAR, it is a very good program to open all the types of zipped files, it can open the .zip files of the winzip also, u can download from:

it is not a free program but free to try

It's a ZIP file much like .zip's. I've found that the best way to open these is to use WinRAR, which you can download for free at rarlab.com. NOT WINRAR.COM.
