plz help guys i just want to listen to some good music on my laptop.......but hav no idea how....?

i often look around people listening to music while they wrk on their computer....but hav wondered how ..can anyone xplane me how to do...tell me how to download and how to save it so that i can listen to it without being online...tell me step by step...i want a real answer and not just a link as an answer......i guess i was born a geek ..but a sheek in making

You have to download music to your computer to be able to listen to music while offline. Go to http://www.limewire.com/english/content/home.shtml and download Limewire. After you install it search for the songs you want and download them. Click on Launch to listen to them. If you need more help you can email me at [e-mail]

I use ITunes. I imported all my cd's on there and now when I'm on the computer I just listen to all my music on there. Just download ITunes from the internet and then if you have cd's just import them in your library. You don't have to be online. If your laptop is capable you can just listen to cd's with windows media player or real player.
By the way, a really good group, to me, is Blue October. Awesome music! Check it out!

first you need to find a source to down load music. many people use lime wire. what you need to do it go to limewires web page down load the free version and then use limewires search engine to find some songs you like. i am not familiar with lime wire because i use kazaa but i'll assume limewire allows you to save the files pretty much anywhere on your computer (often the program limewire will save it for you in a specific folder)

once that's done you can play the songs any time. they should be in mp3 or wave format (but there's others out there as well but these two formats are the most popular and play on any player out there).

that's pretty much it. you can also take your favorite cds and put the songs on your comp. you'll need a player to rip the files to you comp-basically saving them to the comp (ie.real player or winamp or windows media player which comes with most comps.) often just dragging and dropping the flies from the cd will work but many cd songs are in a format that often needs to be converted to mp3 or wave first.


its a basic process so don't make it harder for yourself. just follow what i said and it should work. do a search and you'll be ready to play music in about 5 minutes.

okay, its really really really easy. Because I have an iPod, I would download iTunes from www.apple.com. install it. CONGRATS! youve just got something to play your music. next, i would put music on it. put in your credit card # into iTunes (if you dont feel comfortable doing that, you can buy iTunes cards at the store) then search for songs you want. When you find something, click buy now and it will start downloading. click on library to listen to it! oh...wait, SAVE music from the internet? right click on, save target as to download it. you should have windows media player or quicktime to listen to it.

I did this through high school and got away with it everyday... this is what I did. I wore jeans with front pockets and I would put my mp3 player in my front pocket and then I would put on a hoodie and I ran the cord in the inside of it and would wear my hair down and then I would put the ear pieces through the top on each side where my hair would cover it up and put it on a low volume enough for you to hear but not enough to draw attention from other students or staff. ok, first u go to www.areslite.com.once u get there, click download ( it should be somewhere on that page ). and then it should download by itself but do not x out of that page until it says something like its done downloading or something like that. if something pops uop while its downloading click run or download. once u get that downlaoded it should be on your desk top. double click it. thenthere should some tabs on the top. press search and just type in the song or movie or the authors name and download the songs. to download the songs u have to double click the song u want and it will download by itself.
