Basically I want to get some songs off a CD and permanently on my hardrive so I can work on some videos with Final Cut Express without having the CD inside in computer. Is the CD ripping the only way? If so, what is the best and easiest prgram (that is free) to use?

My recent docs is currently set to "zero days". So it is useless: every time I reboot, the recent doc tab is emptied! I have no idea how I broke it (months ago) or how to fix it. Thanks for any help!

I have a document that is 8 pages now and will be many pages when I'm through. It's an instruction manual, so I'm typing the pages as I think of a topic, but I want to rearrange the pages in a more sensible order when I'm done. Is there a way I can view the document several pages at a time and click and drag the pages to where I want them? I thought I remembered doing that when I took a Word class some 10 versions ago probably, but I'm looking everywhere in that program and can't find a way to do it!

Im in the 2nd act, but I can go to the 3rd act....my notebook says that I stilll need to find clues in the room that the murder took place in. I have several items. But what am I missing.. I am looking for a small program where I can input text, and it will generate a list in alphabetical order. The smaller the program is, the better use I will get out of it. The only thing I can seem to find is Microsoft Word, but I don't want that. Can anyone help?

I obviously don't know how to state this correctly, or I could find something on the web about it. Here's the deal: My XP desktop loses the insertion point where you enter the password, I can click in it all day and the insertion point will not appear. Numlock is on. I just got a Dell laptop, Windows XP Media, and two days later,boom, it is doing the same thing! It couldn't be a virus because I have two other XP desktops that aren't doing this. I have to restart everytime in order to enter my password. This happens after standby, hibernate, and screen saver because I have password protected them on resume. What is going on?

If I end it immediately my PC shuts down or else the program stays on. This window is similar to the window which appears when a program doesn't respond and u press ctrl+alt+delete.

I reformated my PC and reloaded Java. I have the latest version but still cannot play my pogo games. It tells me that Java is not installed on my Pc. I know it is have uninstalled and reinstalled Java several times. Have also gone through the troubleshooting instructions. I received the following note, which I assume it came from Java or Pogo.
