If not able to use Limewire, what other easy-to-use Peer to peer i can use for free .. And please dont suggest bit torrent, hate it...

have you updated limewire to the newest version?
if not - try uninstall it (to do this - go into control panel - then add/remove programs) and once that's done
- go into the program folders section and delete the limewire folder (make sure you do the UNINSTALL first)
- next download and install the latest version of limewire
another good p2p program is WinMX - which is also a free program

I'm still using Limewire so I'm sure it hasn't been stopped. But Ares is also a good peer to peer program.

its useless reinstalling it!
mine stopped working a bit earlier than that and it never started agin. many of my friends had the same problems.
try Imesh or kazaa both are good but torrents are still faster and safer so i see no reason why you shouldnt try to get ureslef accustomed to them.
i also got a virus just by being connected to limewire and never had such problems since using torrents

Re-download limewire and try that, if not it must be a firewall problem, turn it off & try again.
Mine is still working fine
