how do I get the months to turn back in time in system restore.It wont go back?

when i try to resore a earlier date it wont go back.It stays in january.What can I do to get it to go back to an earlier date?.

System Restore makes restore points and if it’s not on the calendar, it does not exist. I highly suggest you get a program such as Norton Ghost or Acronis TrueImage. These programs make a copy of your C drive and you can restore your computer knowing that it will work. I've used both programs and have been extremely satisfied. System Restore sucks. I've used that before I bought those programs; it actually screwed up my computer and some programs installed on it.
