please help! is it my computer, the DVD player, the CD what is it?! if you know a good software that I can download tell me and if there's any updates please tell me too! I want to burn files but, it pisses me off that when I play them they say error! HELP!!!

when i try to do this in order to shut down some broken application, a little windows tells me the administartor made it not available.
Im supouse to be the administrator, and I didn´t do it, can you tell how to fix this?

i tried to remove The GRUB from the loading By using WIN XP SP2 ...i started by CDROM then i enterd R to repair the boot ..then i wrote Fixboot and Fixmbr and when i restarted my PC it gave me messege (NTLDR is missing ) and it couldn't enter to my OS at all ...can i return to my OS without formatting ..pls Help ....

i tried to make a movie with windows movie maker.when i tried to save the project as a movie i saw that it was 566 MB but my computer is pentium 2 and very slow..i think it will take hours to save it.i can't save the project and do this in an other computer because the project only recognises the pictures and movies from the destination i first stated..i can't go back and make a new one in an other computer i took hours..i don't know what to do:( anyone has an idea?

Hi,

I am running on Windows XP Home Edition, and have just recently deleted Norton Ghost from my computer. However, I notice that my backup D drive has only about five gigs left for data. Since I no longer have Norton Ghost, is it possible that I can delete the data already stored in the D drive and use the regular Windows system restore to set [new] restoring points for my computer in the case of a meltdown? Or can I still use those previous restoring points created by Ghost even without the Norton Ghost program?

Suggestions, help appreciated. TYA.

I have noticed this happening quite often, it's quite annoying. I have Windows XP Pro SP2 and occasionally the Desktop icons will reload automatically. Usually when I minimize a window or something like that. It doesn't hurt anything, but it takes a little bit for the icons to reappear. Does anyone know what is causing this? Or is it a normal Windows operation?

I have installed partition magic and want to know if it is possible to partition my OS files on the C: drive and move my data files to the new partition. i basically want my My Documents and program files moved in case the operating system gets corrupted, but do they need to stay there to work correctly?
