Hai,

I had win 98 and my speakers connected to system(external) was working fine. yesterday i just overinstalled (upgraded) win xp on my machine. now i can't listen to any songs.
i checked sounds in control panel. when i click on audio tab, everything is disabled. how to solve this problem ?
all connection, speaker everything is ok.

Im having issues. I have windows ME and all of my windows and fonts are HUGE. I know you can go into your control panel and into display and change this, but the problem im having is, my windows are so large i cannot click on the OK or APPLY button in the bottom right corner to fix it. Ive tried moving the window up, ive tried dragging it smaller. NOTHING IS WORKING. PLEASE HELP. This is sooooooooo frustrating. Anyone who thinks they can help can IM me also and walk me through this. Maybe its just the user. Who knows.!!!

Help would be greatly appreciated. Im making money from a friend that will buy movies from me but when i tried using Nero, i couldnt because its only allowing me to download Datd DVD's and they only play on a PC. IF i downloaded the wrong Nero, give me a link to the other one where i can use Nero. Thanks.

Ok. I had this perfectly good stable PC until my 10 year old cousin installed something from a floppy which contained too many viruses and my system crashed. I booted through the win xp pro installation cd and selected repair windows xp.

Now, the process is halfway done and it is in the installing devices stage. but after installing about 70% of the devices, it stops and continues no further. Now my pc is stuck at the setup screen.

What should i do to complete setup. If it isnt possible, how can I over-ride setup to go to my windows xp so that i can recover something. Formatting is not an option as I have too many files that I need. Please help....

My PC has tons of bugs and I can't get into certain programs without the PC freezing up. I want to re-install windows xp. Can I do this without erasing all of my pictures and documents under "my pictures" and "my documents". Not to mention, will I lose my songs in itunes? Thanks for any advise!

I know that Kazza causes viruses and spy wear but I Downloaded a "File" and its on my desk top I cant delete it, I tried in safe mode, and I downloaded a program that deletes programs before windows boots up but when I open the program it says that the file name is invalid. When I right click on the icon there is not option to delete or for properties. Any suggestions Please! If you need any more Info I will try my best to provide it.

My Cosuin told me that Limewire can never be deleted. I dont believe this but is it true it cant? I download it from my cousins sandisk cruzer. But if i can deleted it hows is there a way?

Ok I have a cd burner that came with Roxio software for burning music and data, but for a while it stopped functioning. Every time I have to burn some data it crashes my computer not letting me burn anything.

The thing is that the cd burner feature of my Window Media Player works. I can burn music with it but not data. So I assume is Roxio that has the problem.

Can I download another CD burner software to burn music, because I assume that Roxio was specifically made for my CD burner, but why Windows Media player work?

Can you recommend me a free alternative so I can burn data in a CD? Thanks

I have a 3 year old Dell Computer, 256Ram, 2.4G Processor with Windows XP Professional. I need to download Quicktime, but it will not load the newer version, I need to down load the older version first. Dell could not get it to download. Anyone with Ideas. ok i am going to try & make this as simple as possible.

my family shares one computer but we each have our own window/log in on the comp. right? ....its a dell

so anyway me 14, i downlaoded aim [aol instant messanger]
and even though we each have our own window when you downlaod something to a computer it go to all the log in's.

my dad is really made that when he click on his log in that aim pops up automatically b/c he doesnt use it.

i like mine to pop up automatically but i would rather him not be made. so

my question is..

to anyone that has downloaded aim before/or good with comp.
