I know that Kazza causes viruses and spy wear but I Downloaded a "File" and its on my desk top I cant delete it, I tried in safe mode, and I downloaded a program that deletes programs before windows boots up but when I open the program it says that the file name is invalid. When I right click on the icon there is not option to delete or for properties. Any suggestions Please! If you need any more Info I will try my best to provide it.

I believe this will work, give it a try.
First right click on the Task Bar at the bottom of the screen. When the menu comes up, click on Task Manager. Click on the tab that says Processes. Look for a ".exe" file that corresponds with the "file" you downloaded. Click on the ".exe" file just once to hilite it and then go to the bottom of the window and click on End Process, and then on Yes. This will stop it from running during this boot up session. Now go through the following steps. It's a bit tedious but it should purge it from your PC.
Where ever you see AOL below, change it to the name of the problem file. e.g. if the file is call pesty.exe, search for "pesty".
GETTING RID OF AOL ON YOUR PC
Do yourself a BIG favor. Remove anything on your PC that even mentions AOL. It is a resource hog and simply tries to take over your pc.
Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove any AOL programs residing there.
Now click on Start > Search > For Files or Folders > All Files and Folders
type in AOL in the top box and let the computer do a complete search of your hard drive. When it is done, click on Edit at the top of the window and click on Select All
Then click on File and click on Delete. It will ask you if you want to remove them. Click on Yes.
If you want to REALLY finish the job:
NOTE: DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE IN THE REGISTRY OTHER THAN WHAT I MENTION HERE. If you are not familiar with editing the registry and you do other things you may give yourself some big headaches.
Click on Start > Run >
type in regedit
click once on the very top directory to hilite it.
Hold down Ctrl + F; this will open a search window
type in AOL and then click on Find Next
when it finds an AOL entry, right click on it and select Delete and yes. (Do this if it is a folder in the left hand pane or if it is an entry in the right hand pane)
Hold down Ctrl + F again and repeat the process until you have cleaned your registry of all AOL items. This may be a very tedious process so hang in there.
When you think you have it all out. Go back up to the top directory in the left pane, hilite it, and search for AOL once again just to make sure you didn't miss any.
Once you are completely done. Reboot your PC. This will reset the registry without all the AOL crap.

The only thing that I can think of would be to create a new folder on your desktop (right click, new, folder), and put the icon in the folder. Then single-click on the folder, and then delete the folder. I don't know for sure if this will work, but I really hope it does. If all else fails, get out your CD that has Windows on it, and completely reinstall Windows. I had a similar problem once, and ended up having to do just that. It was the worst, and I lost all of my music files. If you do have to reinstall Windows, then make sure you back up all of your files first!
I'm really sorry to hear about that, I HATE when stuff like that happens. I really hope you can fix it!

I had a similar problem and I used a program called UNLOCKER.
It's a free program from http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker
My problem was a file I couldn't delete or move or anything. This was due to the fact that the OS thought it was being used by a program (locked).
Once you load the program, restart your computer, then right-click on the file, select unlocker (left click) and the file is deleted.
Hope it works for you too!

Its tricky business removing shortcuts and files that are generated by spyware. A re-format would resolve it for sure ( did you make a Ghost backup of your system? ) or you can try searching in the registry for anything related to the program. This can be hit or miss. Otherwise the program will regenerate everytime you reboot even if you are successfull in deleting it. Good Luck!

Are you able to "drag" it to your wastecan? Can you go to your "control panel" and remove it using the "Install/Uninstall" option there?
