In the Sims 2 installation booklet, it should say how much space the game is going to take on your hard drive, or "drive C".
When you know this number, click on your start menu so that it opens, and then double click on the icon that says "my computer".
When the window opens you need to RIGHT CLICK on the LOCAL DISC C icon and click PROPERTIES on the menu that opens.
A little pie chart will show up. This shows you how full the disc is. There should also be numbers in spots labeled FREE SPACE and USED SPACE.
If the number in the FREE SPACE section is less than the amount of space that the game book tells you that you need, then the game will not load.
You will have to delete some files, games, etc until there is enough free space.
Or consider buying and installing a new Hard drive, or a secondary hard drive.

A hard drive is like a digital suitcase for all of your stuff. When its full, its full. You need to take some stuff out, or buy a bigger suitcase.

It means just what it says. There's not enough memory on your computer to hold the game. If you can delete enough items on your comp, you can usually get the space you need. I'm not exactly sure how to check for enough space. Check your comp manuel for that. Good luck with your game!
