Software - December 2006

Anyone who knows their way around Excel Macros (the visual basic stuff) gimme a hand here - I desperately need to have two macros running at the same time - I want one that stops you copying anything, if the macro is enabled (I have the code), and I want one that forces you to enable macros (I have that code as well.) I have both codes, I just can't get them to work at the same time!!!! It keeps saying "Ambiguous Thingy Wotsit" which normally means you have to change the sub name, but its all too tricky. Anyone???? Clever???? Know???? Anything???? Help!!!!

I have a copied CDROM and I need another copy, problem is, the files are too big. I don't know how they were even copied to the copy. The CD holds 700 MB my files total are 1.13 GB, so I tried to zip it, and it's still 1.09 GB... too large to go onto another CD. How do I do this?

i had the older version 5.25 which is really good but to some honest mistake i upgraded it to what i thought was something better but the next thing i knew i was asking me for a credit card. i tried to fix the problem but before i knew it i had completely removed bearshare out of my computer. so now im trying to find the same version coz version6 isn't at all that helpful. the FAQs aren't helping me. HELP please...

BT have advised me not install IE 7 because it is not compatible with Yahoo Browser.
Microsoft have have given it an "Critical" category so it is constantly reminding me to download it each time I start my computer. Will BT sort this out soon.

I face some problems reinstalling operating system. pls advise.
1 I lose my cd writer software, what should i do? or reinstallation does not require this cd?

2 I lose also my Window XP software too, the repair man said Microsoft allow them to sell windows xp to new purchase of PC " only" which means I can't get it from him even i want to "buy" it , they don't sell! ( what is this? is it true? what kind of policy is this? so does this apply I throw my existing well working pc away as i couldn't get an operating system and pay extra money just because I can't get an opearting software?) I think what he says is funny but what can i do to slove the problem?

3how do i check by myself my pc processor, memory, hard disk and display information?

The video is in.mov format and when it was filmed, I set the wrong resolution. Is there a way that I can enhance the video to a better resolution. It came out as 128k video.
