I second the first answer. I had this problem for a long time, and only Spybot and Adaware corrected it. It's nigh impossible to track down and erase the files yourself.

Also, switch to Firefox for your browser. It is far more secure than Internet Explorer, as it doesn't download tons of crap from websites you visit.

More than likely spyware related. go to download.com and get Ad-Aware SE Personal or Spybot: Search and Destroy to remove them
