The original BIOS settings are the "primitive" bits of code that get your computer up and running. To get into them you usually have to press delete when the machine is first powering up - turn on the power and whilst it is doing its memory and disk checks it normally displays "Press Delete to enter setup mode" though this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Follow the instructions to get into the BIOS menu area. There is normally a page that is labelled as advanced BIOS settings - select it - the mouse is unlikely to work you will probably have to use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard to highlight the page. You select it normally by pressing enter.
Once in the advanced menu you will normally see a whole raft of different items that you can change - DON'T. Find the item labelled "First Boot Device" which will be set to CD. Use the arrow keys to select it and then use the Page UP or Page Down keys to change the selected device to drive "C". Page UP/Down are the typical keys for this function but again very between manufacturers. Once you have changed the setting to C you must save the new setting to memory - again this varies but is generally a case of pressing Esc and/or F10 and then when prompted pressing Y to confirm "store to memory"

Since you change the setting from Bios to boot from cd, you won't be able to boot into windows without the disc. Reboot your pc again and at the first bios screen there's a key you can hit to get into the bios setup to get it back to default. It's usually the F6 or Delete key. Check your motherboard manual.

Go back to BIOS. Look for "Default Settings" and choose that.

That's motherboard dependant. Most motherboards will have an option to set things back to their factory settings, but know if you do that, whatever you've changed prior to that will go away.

As a gamer myself.. The spect you provided is already good adequate for any video games obtainable, additionally counting on your picture card... i would not advise over clocking your CPU, except you have a physically powerful cooling gadget (Liquid Cooling), in any different case get a shovel and initiate digging a grave on your CPU. :P good luck.
