i can get the songs to be played in my soundcard using the line-in port of my comp but i'm not able to record it as an mp3 or a wav or any format. i guess it's some problem with the settings. i need to know the settings. can anyone help me out!

I've checked the properties over and over again, it is set to open with windows picture and fax viewer, but it still opens with the stupid PAINT! This happened when I momentarily installed ACDSEE to resize several pics at once, so I tried uninstalling it, but it's still the same. Help!

Since I loaded World of Warcraft i cannot access my wireless internet connection. I am using BT Broadband and a card adapter. Any ideas why this has stopped working? I am using it in the same place, the only change was loading World of Warcraft.

I was just wondering what the number at the bottom left had corner of the screen means, when you open up Limewire. The one next to the "reception bar" thing and the Earth icon/ pic.

What number do u hav there, it says 200 for mine, but it was lower before, it seems to be increasing. what does this mean?

One of my hard drive (F) is still inaccessible and the only way that I knew of to make it back to normal is by using Scandisk. But Scandisk can't detect Drive F at all and I was wondering if anybody knew how to make use of Windows XP's Command Prompt to run Scandisk on my Drive F? Your help is greatly needed. Thanks.

I am Sreedhar by name and I reside in Trivandrum. I have completed my Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics. To be flat open I didnt shine in that course and so i ended up with no job . Now I am nowhere of geting a job except in a call centre. But I know call centre does not promise great future. so I want to do an software course. I dont know the XYZ of any software .... All I heard is that .Net and mainframe courses are the best available options in front of me... I dont know what to select since i dont have any hands on or heads on experience in software field. If there is availability of other courses also please answer me honestly and briefly. Your answer may decide my Future...!!!

i'm working on a project on i photo, with music and effects already, i'm trying to convert it as quick time movie, and i'd like to add text (i'm preparing a text only document for it to attach); some of the transaction effects in the movie are really bad no fluenty at all....some suggestion to get better results with music, text and special effects too?

I am having difficulty to set up Japanese language option. I bought this computer 2 weeks ago, it is brand new and OS is Windows XP Media center. I tried the following already but language bar did not aprear at all ; 1 Control panel.2 Regional and language option, and select "language" tab.3 Click "Install files for East Asian languages" (It is currently showing grayed out, so I can not click it any longer.) 4 Click "Detail"under "Text service and input languages". Then I should see "Microsoft IME Standard 2002 ver. 8.1" under "Default input language", or "installed services" or after I click "Add", right? All I see under "Text service and input languages" are " Japanese-Japanese", "Japanese-US", and "Japanese-Input System (MS-IME 2002)". I wonder if 2002 8.1 version was accidentaly removed? If so, how can I reinstall it:? Is this the reason why I do not have language bar? I need to use Japanese for e-mail and internet so bad to communicate with my family there, please help me.

I have always run Firefox on my machine. I now have Firefox 2 and have found that it has started to use 100% of the CPU, especially after going onto my email. Even when I close Firefox down, it still block up the CPU and I have to reboot to clear the problem. Does anyone have any answers to this? Is there anything that can be done?
