Software - December 2006

I'm using Fotobatch 5.0.3, but everytime after i edited a photo and saved it, there will be an irritating watermark on the right botton corner "converted by fotobatch". I really want to get rid of it.... Any1 can help me on this? I will definately give 1o pts to the effective measure!

I've seen windows that was altered to look different. How do you do this? What programs do this? I tried WindowBlinds and it didn't work. Are there anymore?

I'm trying to learn how to use Audicity and the directions don't really work for me they need to be more specific. Well the effects tab doesn't turn the options black so you can change the tone of the thing you recorded. I'm trying to make the thing I recorded to do faster but it won't let me saying some reason you have to have the Audio and I did. Whats the promblem?

OK, this might sound insanely vague, but maybe 10-15 years ago I played a sci-fi PC game that took place in the future and you created and armed a team of cyborgs (maybe they were like police?) and guided them around and--I think--completed missions. You could have up to four, as I recall, and when you clicked on one to control it and select a weapon, a voice said, "SELECTED."

Anyone know what the heck I'm talking about? Thanks a lot.

for awhile now .....everytime i burn a movie onto a dvd it burns it fine but like at the end of the movie it gets really chopy. Ive tried it on two computers now so its not the computer. I use DVD Shrink 3.2 to put the movie on the computer and then i use NTI DVD Maker to burn it onto a disk............how can i fix this problem. and if its not fixable then what is a program that i can use that does work for a fact. (cost of the program is no problem)

you guys keep saying get a converter. I have one. its called Xilisoft. it converts them but when I go to itunes and pull down the add files thing and click on my video it wont even show up in the "movies" section of the library, or anywhere else for that matter.

When I receive an email through Yahoo containing images, I see only the outline of the image with the broken gif symbol in the upper left corner. If there are attachments, I see only the broken gif in the attachments box at the bottom of the email. Either way, I have to right-click and select "view image" in order to see it... what a pain in the butt! Firefox, from what I've learned, can not be modified through the system registry. I've also attempted to check and uncheck every box in Tools/Options. Please do not suggest that I use IE - this is not an option. Here's the kicker... it works just fine at home on my laptop, and I use WinXP SP2 on both systems. The only difference is that I reinstalled my system at work and prior to that, I wasn't having a problem so something was changed somewhere.

I know some of you are serious enough geeks to know exactly what's wrong. Any help you can offer would be very greatly appreciated. I'm comfortable with playing in regedit, etc.

can anyone tell me the website i would go to, to upgrade my windows media player to 10 or 11? or tell me how i can fix this. whenever i try to burn a cd on windows media something pops up and says cannot burn to cd, and says try a slower recording speed or a different brand of discs, i tried a different brand of discs but it didnt work and i dont know how to put it on a slower recording speed. please help!
