OK, this might be a long one. I have a new Mac and overall am happy with it. I bought Parallels to avoid having to replace Adobe Photoshop and it is up and running. Using shared folders, images from the net that I have downloaded will open in Photoshop no problem. However images of my own that I scan onto my Mac will not open in Parallels. Both examples are JPEG's on the Mac but the scanned images are not JPEG's when I open the folder in Parallels. I have used this scanner on my PC for years, and it works fine on my Mac except for this one problem. Thanx for any help.

I got all these things that showed up in my My Documents folder (the Analog Clock, Battey Meter, etc.) but double-clicking on them doesn't do anything. Also I couldn't find any settings in my Google toolbar that said anything about them. Anyone know anything about this?

I just copied a load of info from excel into access. Me not being very hot on access had the existing files highlighted when I pasted. Now the previous records are gone and I can't recover it! Is there a way of doing it? Please don't tell me i have to input over 1000 records again??

A virus has disabled System Restore I think. I can't open up the Help Menu from the Start button to get to the System Restore Wizard. I've tried using Safe Mode but I'm not too familiar with it. I couldn't seem to do it from there either.

I've already run all the free anti-virus & anti-spyware stuff to no avail. It's also shut down my Task Manager, Windows Media Player, and I think it may be what's caused my internet to go down as well. So I'm really in a bind. I can't download anything from the internet.

Is there another way to get to System Restore or do you have any other suggestions? I'm going to end up reformatting but I need a solution in the meantime.

OK,i've used limewire for like 1 year.Recently I've started downloading programs like software.I usually download only winzip files.Every time I start to download a executable file limewire displays a warning saying it could contain a virus.How safe it is to download an executable file off of Limewire?I know I'm gonna get a lot of Limewire hater responses so please dont bother player haters.

First of all, is it best to save your downloaded songs to itunes?

If not itunes, then how else can I save them and burn them to a disc?

I downloaded 20 songs last night, saved them to itunes. I could only burn 3 of them to disc, the rest were not able to be burned. Why is this?
