Many DVD burners get cranky when you make them write too close to the outermost edge of the disc. Change DVD Shrink so it's using more compression and making a smaller copy.

Within DVD Shrink, go to Edit and then Preferences. On the Preferences tab change the target DVD size to "Custom" and set the default size at 4400 MB. You will only have to do this once.

It's a small change in size from DVD-5 (4.7GB), but it seems to work wonders for some users.

i use dvd shrink also. u need to install nero so that right after dvd shrink is done recoding the dvd, nero will automatically burn the image to a dvd-r all in one non-stop process.
